Dr. Jean Marquez

MARIJEAN MARQUEZ, M.D., FPDS or Dr. Jean as her patients fondly call her, has been practicing clinical and cosmetic dermatology since 1999. 
      Having earned her degree in Medicine from the De La Salle University in 1993, Dr. Jean passed the Philippine Physician Licensure Examination in 1995. A few years after, she graduated Chief Resident of the Department of Dermatology at the East Avenue Medical Center and consequently acquired an observership training in clinical, cosmetic and laser dermatology in Mid Valley Dermatology in Sherman Oaks, California, U.S.A. Likewise, she trained in Advanced Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology in Houston , Texas . 
      This dynamic, board-certified dermatologist was awarded the “Seal of Excellence” by the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) in 2001. Dr. Jean is currently the President of the Philippine Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery, a position she has been holding since 2004.
      This vibrant and optimistic young doctor used to host a segment about the skin in UNTV from 2004 up to 2006. Now, she’s a frequent guest in various shows on television. This endeavor, is her way in sharing her knowledge and expertise in dermatology to the general public.
      At present, she is a consultant to various medical spas and wellness centers and holds clinic once a week at the clinic of Dr. Antonio O. Marquez in Manila.
